Amanda, Registered Veterinary Technician

Amanda is a Registered Veterinary Technician who graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Georgian College in 2018. Following that she took the required steps to acquire and maintain her registered status. She grew up in Innisfil and often brought home outdoor cats and occasionally wildlife. 

From the animal hospital in Innisfil to Cambridge then finally Parry Sound, she feels incredibly grateful for the variety of companion animals she has worked with over the years. In that time she has developed a special interest in surgery, specifically monitoring anesthesia. She is always interested in learning updates and ways to improve her skills. Aside from that she also advocates for fear free visits for our pets. 

Outside of work, you would find her spending time with her husband Ian and their fur babies Winry and Miesha either out on a walk, on the water or in the garden.
